It is getting worse. If you have a hotmail or gmail address, please, let me know and I will see what I can do about changing it.

Can you ban IP adresses at all? Sometimes spam will come from the same people with a few different IP's.

Trust me, I ban their email addresses and their IP addresses. You cannot believe how many come in. Thanks for the idea.

If you've ever heard of zombie computers; that's one way spammers can keep each IP unique (basicly they're normal people's computer with a net connection that is being used remotely without them knowing). Very hard to stop spammers using tha teqnique. Enough zombie computers can send so much info to a site at once it will even crash the server.
Also people can manipulate their IP's so you get a different one everytime; banning everything but their true IP. It's a tactic used more frequently when crashing video game servers, but possible to use here as well....
If the problem doesn't cool down I can switch my e-mail to an AOL account- it's currently Gmail.
I frequent a forum with many techno geeks. I can post there to see if they have any helpful ways of combating all this and I'll get back to you with anything usefull.

Spence, see what you can find out. It would be nice to be able to keep them out. I still go and ban their emails, wildcard their emails, their IP addresses, wildcard their IP addresses, etc. Just deleted over 15 spammers. Thanks, Chief

OK this should take care of the auto dispached ones.
And also here's a how-to on fighting spam.
I forget from when I registered, but are there captcha's (funky pictures with letters that you have to type to verify)? Also, dissable guest posting if it isn't already.

Why, thank you very much, I have taken it off our web site because of all the porn that is being placed on it. someone was supposed to come in and assist in the coding so they could not get in. I am sure you are deleting too much. If you have any good suggestions as to what to do then just say it. I have been doing my best to remove it, stop it, cancel them out, etc. you name it. thanks!!!
